To comply with GPSR product safety regulations, Turf Football Art Ltd keeps a technical file on all products that are made available. As part of this technical file, we keep records of;

  • a compliance safety assessment for each product type (i.e. one assessment for our mug products, another assessment for our framed print products, etc.);
  • any reported safety issues or concerns from consumers for each product type over the past 10 years;
  • how Turf Football Art Ltd is able to identify it's products that are sent out to consumers, and;
  • our suppliers from who Turf Football Art Ltd purchase materials to create our finished products.

Turf Football Art Ltd currently assess the level of risk as being LOW for our entire product range when it comes to consumer safety, however would like to highlight some of the potential LOW levels risks that consumers may face when receiving our products;

Framed Art Prints

  • Low risk of damage occurring in transit, which may result in broken materials when opening packaging. Risk is negated by using shatterproof styrene glazing, frame corner protectors, and recyclable Hive Wrap packaging to cushion any impact on the product whilst in transit.
  • Low risk of injury to user when opting to hang the framed print on a wall. Guidance on how to safely hang one of our framed prints is provided within the packaging, highlighting the importance of checking for electrics and pipes within walls, being careful when using a hammer and also ensuring that the correct wall hanging fixture if chose to take the weight of the framed print.

Ceramic Mugs

  • Low risk of damage occurring in transit, which may result in broken materials when opening packaging. Risk is negated by using sturdy mugs, double walled cardboard boxes and foam sheets to wrap around and protect the mug from any impact.
  • Low risk of mug cracking or the handle falling off, if for example there is a very sudden change in temperature. The risk has been reduced by using a sturdy, thick mug as our base to print on, which has been designed by the manufacturer with durability in mind. The mugs that we use also have a handle which has been integrated within the body of the mug to provide additional strength and assurance to our customers.
